Pete is a photographer, naturalist and lover of wild places. He is based in the Lake District, he has a keen interest in the preservation of the natural world and mitigating man’s impact on it. His images aim to inspire people to take more of an interest in our outdoor places, both close and far away.
He first picked up a camera in 2011 on an expedition to the Amazonian Basin in Ecuador and hasn’t looked back since. His expedition photography has led him around the world, with recent trips including a two-week canoe voyage around the north-west wilds of Sweden, a top to bottom journey down the length of New Zealand and a tour of South Africa where he took the Wild Africa images, on the border of Kruger National Park.
